Pompey don't have a huge capacity i grant you that, but have a look at scottish away fans. I got to Ibrox,each week,and it's maybe surprises you but around 800 away fans from likes of Aberdeen, Hibs, Dundee united, gave you're home fans a run for there money. But yes i agree,pompey fans are passionate you get that more with smaller clubs in Britain-That being Rangers aswell-Man U, best team in the world, but i bet 60% of their season ticket holders didn't start supporting man utd as a child.

Im pretty sure Fenerbahce or Boca or Zenit or Hadjuk or Zagreb or Wilsa have had louder fans. Dont get me wrong its a fantastic atmosphere, only certain clubs can have that, but other areas of the world destory the majority of English fans.
