Thank you for a thoughtful, well done video. There will always be nay-sayers, but it's nice to look back and see that we do make progress as a people. It also gives us hope in the possibilities of the future. So thank you for a great video, and best wishes to our new president-elect.

An addition to the previous comment:Secondly, what exactly does Barack Obama have in common with Martin Luther King Jr., or John F. Kennedy? What does Barack Obama have to do with ending racial and sexual oppression?Thirdly, would it not be wise to critically examine all candidates for elected office completely regardless of the individual's race, gender, ethnicity, and of other superficial trivialities?

First of all, Barack Obama was nominated by acclimation. This means that the entire Democratic party conventional delegation was completely disregarded in favor of Nancy Pelosi conducting a "cheer if you wish to nominate Obama" procedure (with less than a second's time for opposition). This after a primary season in which anyone in opposition to Obama was mocked by the mainstream media, and/or banned from the Democratic debates (ie. Mike Gravel), all in the name of "party unity."

What an amazing tribute. How very fitting that Barack was born in 1961, one hundred years after the War Between the States began, when so many people were still in bondage. I believe history will record Barack, like JFK and RFK, as one of the greatest Americans.
