the reason for this test is that both cars are german, but they are build in the usa.and tim schrick doesn't tests the nominal hp/price or the name of producer, he tests the cars for suitability for daily use compared with raceabilities,when you need it.

It's so sad they stopped selling the Speedster. After all it was a Lotus Elise with a more powerful engine for less money... (Though i would rather pay the extra money for the lotus design and badge.... otherwise I would have to kill myself when standing next to a real Lotus)And wasn't the speedster much faster than this "GT"? 60HP more sounds nice but it's also 400kg heavier... and not mid enginded...and american....
