Ok its an old video for 1, 2 they exemplify the computer playing far cry, not hardly demanding especially compared to the challenge posed by crysis. 3, Intel and Nvidea are the ground breakers look at the track record, Nvidea was the first company to produce the GPU. Nvidea is constantly adding cards to sli support and two years ago showcased their 4 card gaming pc. 2006 with 4 8800 fx Gts's in sli. Intel just released the Core I7 which beats all.

AMD is faster. Im not trying to be a fan boy but its just facts guys. AMD has more FSB with all there processors and more cache... Im running an old Athlon 64 3200+.. Its faster then my friends Intel Dual core =D

the only way AMD could sell a useful cpu that has anything competitive against intels lineup and that would be worth buying these days is if they made a 45 watt energy efficient small form factor desktop cpu with 8MB of L2 cache intel nor Amd has nothing green and cachy in desktops.honnestly all present day intel and Amd desktop chips are lousy in the performance per watt department

DDR3 is not any faster over DDR2 and it cost more for DDR3 then DDR2. SO what the point right now. Foxler

And DDR3 Helps about 2-3 seconds in programs like winrar and costs mutsh more.

AMD is good for games and video editing but for Computer aided design? If I were in the business, I'd go with the Intel because of the system cache like the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 with 12mb. with 2 or 3 AMD FireStream 9270sAs a consumer stand point AMD is the preferred choice because of its price, but not many people would go with the processor and video cards I described. the processor alone is 2000$!

Intel now supports DDR3 where AMD is stuck on DDR2

WOW... Look at Intel's chipset lag like an old grandmother...

AMD is best for gamers.. Amd 780g beats nvidia 8200 IGP& 790GX beats Nvidia 8300 IGP |
