There seems to be a lot of bad blood going around about this edition of the game, but hey it's not like WotC is coming to your house and taking all your old books from you. If you like 3e or 2e or any combination of rules more power to you, just remember what playing this game is really all about, getting together with a bunch of your friends and having a kick ass time.

From the sound of it, some hardcore fans are really blowing up about all the changes. I'll admit, I haven't played it since AD&D 2nd Edition, but these changes can't be all bad. I'm not a fan of WotC myself, I liked it when TSR owned the franchise, but look on the upside. Had they not bought it, it would have slipped into oblivion as TSR went belly-up.Better to have something than nothing. The important thing is to cherish those old-school memories you have and still be open to new things.
