Well, current consoles are more than capable of using this technology. In fact, PS3 already has with its "Eye of Judgement" game. PS2 even had EyeToy games that tracked objects in a 2D plane. It's a shame that there aren't more efforts to use this tech in gaming.

so i dont get it so what youll do for gears 3 exc is put posters all over your house? so they will represent 3d objects? so how the hell do you use vehicles or anyhting do you put it in you car and puit more posters on other cars so they look like tanks? or will xbox buy out hundreds of parks and small towns to be designated war zones? sorry but to me this is over the top... maybe have a lazer tag arena or something with this but not for xbox pulse...

This isnt going on the Xbox 360, microsoft said that the OGT(optical glyph tracking) isnt going on the the360 but rather the Xbox 720(also known as the xbox pulse) and it looks like weve got three more years before that fateful day. |
