Not really a fair contest granted, a tunned gtr against a std tvr. Regardless of this, having owned a gtr with 630 hp it turrned out to be alot more reliable than my m8's tvr.I think he mentioned also that you could quite easily spend 5-6 k on it, but not modifying it, just fixing it to get it to do wot it should, ie be a mode of transport.I'd have a datsun anyday over any tvr, and oh the speed 12 wouldnt even get off the line its literally undrivable , take my word for that!!!

Skyline a turd?The only car ever to written out of race rules because it won EVERYTHING, the first year the R32 GTR competed it won everysingle race in the season.You call that a turd?

what an ugly car. The tvr looks great. I once saw a 500+ cubic inch pinto pull a 9.5 in the quarter and my thought on it then is the same as the skyline now, you can't polish a turd. 1000hp pinto and a "700hp" skyline are still turds.

Too bad there aren't many tuning companies for TVR. And the RB26DETT is capable of more than 1430hp. Research more about it and tell me if your Russian car is able to outperform it.

Please.....to start with im not American so don't call me dude....Secondly, the cerb would have been straight out of the factory, so running approx 340-370bhp, they never met factory figures when coming off the production line....short ram induction, remap and youd then be hitting the 420bhp, 0-60 of 3.9 and 190+ MPH, thats probs with about £1500-£2000 spent on it...spend the rest and god knows what would happen...please research (or own one) before you make silly comments.I thank you
