you need a faster cpu to get faster fps. At least a dual core cpu, a p4 wont do you much good. I got an 8600 gt with a amd 6000 and i only get 30 fps( but that's with direct x10 games.)theirs other factors to take into account too like memory, mother board, power supply etc, but i would say get a dual core or you can just try getting an Nvidia 280 :0.

hey i a question i got a brand new radeon hd 4830, but cod4 demo on high i get like 9fps. whats the problem? i got pentuim iv @ 2.6ghz1 gig ramyes i do have power on the card.

There is one test that the radeons completely fail in, i cant rmeber what it was.

i got this demotheres a HIGH visual feed goin in and outbut ati manages to give the newest features rendered the the best for the lowest performance cost ati ftw ambient occlusion ftw :D
