Ohh, whoops my mistake! I'm just so used to seeing videos of origami models being criticized for being non-square and accused of being kirigami.

I know that origami uses all sorts of different paper shapes and sizes, I'm just saying when you go to a store and find some origami paper, it's square (as far as I see from my shops nearby) and you have to cut it yourself or somethig to get it to be 1:4 or 1:3 or 1:6.

If you're still having a lot of trouble with it, I'd be glad to help you if you need it. Sometimes it's good to see it drawn out as well as video to get a better idea. I could diagram it for you.

Doesn't necessarily have to be square. Some origami models require half squares or 1:4 or 1:3 or 1:6 or A-Sized paper etc. As long as cutting or gluing is not part of the process of creating it, it's origami.
