No... the rotor would work as a wing. One of the blades would revert it's inclination so that both would produce vertical lift.But yeah, in the end of the day you are right: fictional outcome.

nope & yesin reality maybe (but in the show) no"to quote the woman in the show"airwolf is a twin engine jet chopper with an aero dynamic lifting bodywe assume from that, that its shape & winglet design along with 2 of the side pannels provide liftwich is kinda possible (depending on the speed) but me thinks turning would be mega scary LOL

Fixing its rotor ???? that would make it lose all vertical lift. But like i said, if your going to have a fictional battle between fictional aircraft you may as well have a fictional outcome.

Not, because Air Wolf wasn't just an advanced helicopter, it was a sci-fi helicopter. It managed to break the sound barrier by fixing it's rotor, it was armored with depleted uranium, it had a computer onboard able to simulate a human mind, etc. On the other hand, Firefox was built on... Soviet tech, mhwahwahwahwa. As their scientists used to joke, "the biggest microchips in the world"
