No mystery here. The battery (above the meter) is used for the first half of the rotation, and the counter-EMF (sometimes called "Back-EMF) is rectified and pushed through a cap for the second half. You could also put the cap charge back onto another battery. Eventually the battery will run out, but this is MORE EFFICIENT.

There is no "hidden" power source, it it in plain sight at the upper left of the screen. It is the "primary" batteries of the Bedini circuit. The "secondary" or "charge" batteries in this case is not a battery, but a capacitor. My understanding of the Bedini coircuit is that it charges a secondary battery from the collapsing magnetic field of the motor as the rotor passes the electromagnet. But the motor is still powered from a primary source, namely a battery.

LOOK CAREFULLY...At the beginning after he removes the screwdriver from the capacitor... the meter starts climbing before he touches the shaft to spin it. It gets up to 3 in less than a second.Then, at the end of the video, when he shorts it out again, before he spins it again, the meter climbs to 8 really quickly.THERE IS A HIDDEN POWER SOURCE!Bedini, Bearden, and others do the same thing for demonstrations so they can get investment money.

I was curious and built a bidini motor. construction was beter than most. the efisfency was about 5 times that of a standard dc motor and verry inpresive but it was not over unity. I used several types of baterys to test the recharging but all were ran down in time. a very inpresive motor that was easy to build so build one test it then draw your own conclusions. Build time was aprox 5 hours for a very nice baland=ced motor.
